Gym Notes 10-30-2011

Here is the plan for this week.

Monday, October 31.

1. Tear down. Please try to get your daughters to Ponderosa as early as possible. I would really appreciate it if the girls could be in the gym ready to tear down by 3:30. The girls should wear tennis shoes and clothes that can get dirty.

2. The girls who did not qualify to state will turn in their leotards, warm ups and bags.

3. The team will vote on awards.

Girls who do not qualify to state are welcome to come to practices as long as they come to work out and do gymnastics.

Tuesday, November 1

Practice at Chalkbox.6:30 – 8:00

Wednesday, November 2

Practice at Chalkbox 3:30 – 5:00

Thursday, November 3

Practice at Castle Rock School of Gymnastics 2:30 – 4:00

Directions and the liability form were sent with last week’s email.

I will dismiss the state qualifiers from school at 2:00.

Friday, November 4

State at Thornton High School

5A Preliminary Session Friday Afternoon - Competition begins 2:30 p.m.

Tickets on sale at 1:00 p.m.

Thornton High School: 720-972-4800. 9351 N. Washington, Thornton, CO 80229.

Directions: I-25 to 104th, E to Washington, S to school.

Please be advised: Limited Parking until 3:30PM on Friday, November 4. Competing schools should park in the lower south lot.

Ticket prices –

All session pass $10. Students and senior citizens $8.00

Individual prelim tickets -

Adults $6.00. Students and senior citizens $5.00

Finals $7.00. Students and senior citizens $5.00.

Gym Notes 10-17-2011

Tuesday practice at Chalkbox 10 am -11:30, use the side door. Remember if you want to be eligible to compete you need to come to one of the practices this week. If you did not show up today, you need to show up on Tuesday.

Wednesday League at Overland. Gymnasts competing should arrive by 3:00.

The meet starts at 5:00

Thursday JV league at Ponderosa. Gymnasts should arrive at PHS by 4:00. The meet will start at 6:00.
