Sports Physicals Saturday, August 6

First, thank you to everyone who helped with gym set up. There are a few things left to do, but those can be done during summer training.

It was wonderful to meet so many incoming gymnasts. It was also great to have some graduates of the program stop by and help. Of course, it was exciting to also catch up with returning gymnasts. Olivia was the rock star who made it to all three days!!!

Ponderosa will be offering sports physicals to all students in Douglas County on Saturday, August 6. The cost is $35. As I get more information about the physicals, I will post it on the blog.

I am going to be in Las Vegas next week. So no gymnastics.

Summer workouts will begin on July 11 from 9 - 10:30 am. Please remember to bring the camp form signed by your parent. No form means no gymnastics. If you need another copy, please send me an e-mail and I will forward it to you.

June 29 6-8 Last Day of Gym Set up

Thank you to everyone who came to help last night. I really enjoy meeting new gymnasts and re-connecting with returning ones.

We are almost done. Tonight we will flip the floor, unroll and tape up the wrestling mats, set up the carpet, and set up the competition bars.

The more people that come, the easier it will be.

Gym Set up June 28 6 -8 pm

Thank you to everyone who came tonight for set up. It went really well and we accomplished a lot. To have the beams and vault runway already in place is huge.

Tuesday we will start working on the floor and the bars. We might even finish setting up the beam and vault areas. Again wear tennis shoes and clothes that can get dirty.

I am excited to see everyone tomorrow.

Set Up

Set up June 27, 28, 29 6 pm - 8 pm.
Wear tennis shoes and clothes that can get dirty.

The more people that show up the faster and easier it will be. Bring your friends, any one can help with set up.
We will start the star chart on Monday.
If you want community service go to your high school's website and print out the community service form, I will sign them at the end of each night.
Thank you to those gymnasts who have let me know about their status for set up.
Based on the schedule of the school and the gyms, this is our opportunity to get our gym ready to go.
I know this interferes with some club gymnastic practices, but the alternative would have us setting up in mid to late July.
I appreciate everyone understanding the scheduling issues.

See you all tomorrow.
