Summer Weights Information

I highly recommend summer weights either at Ponderosa or at your high school.
Athletes who participate in summer weights reduce the chance of injury.
Gymnasts who have 80% attendance in either Ponderosa's or their high school's summer weights program will be credited one varsity meet towards lettering.

Session Dates June 1 - July 31 (No training from June 28 - July 2) Monday - Thursday
Athletes will train four days each week, four weight training sessions and two speed and agility sessions, in order to increase strength, power, speed, running mechanics.

Session starting times (7:00 am) (8:20 am) (9:40 am) (11:00am)

Cost

Full eight week session $135 ($125 if registered before April 16)

1 four week session either June 1- June 25 or July 5- July 31 $75 ($65 if registered before April 16)

Fee includes four 1:15min sessions each week of training as well as summer training T-shirt.

Some session times may be sport specific depending on enrollment. If this effects your time you will be open to choose another session time.
