Tomorrow is 8th Grade Orientation

If anyone can and represent the gymnastics program Tuesday night around 7:15, I would really appreciate it.

There are loads of new videos.

College gymnastic season has started. I have season tickets to DU. The meets are great. http://www.denverpioneers.com/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=18600&KEY=&SPID=10867&SPSID=90225 I went to the pre-season exhibition meet in December. Denver has some very talented gymnasts. Denver's first home meet is this Saturday at 6:00.

The website Gymnastike http://www.gymnastike.org/ has video from college meets. This link is to video from the Utah / UCLA meet. http://www.gymnastike.org/videos/coverage/view/236217-utah-2-at-ucla-5

Hope to see some of you tomorrow night.

Happy New Year!!!

Welcome to 2010!!!

The banquet was wonderful. Thank you for the helpful Jazzercise attire and the gift card to Chili's.
It was an amazing season, and the seniors and their parents did a great job planning the banquet.

Next week on Tuesday, January 12. Ponderosa is having 8th grade orientation. I was wondering if any gymnasts could come and help represent the program. Gymnasts should arrive around 7:15, and will be done by 9:00. Basically, we just stand there and talk to people who are interested in gymnastics. Any help I can get, I can use.

Registration for next year is going to start soon. All gymnasts should try to get into their school's sports training (strength and conditioning) class for the fall semester.

It is also getting to be that time to start training again. I think participating in a spring sport is a great way to cross train and I highly recommend it.

There are also some great gyms around Parker that have programs to help those gymnasts that are not going to do a spring sport. If gymnasts want to do CARA, there is Chalkbox in Elizabeth and Aurora Illusions in Aurora. Both are wonderful programs. I also think the gyms in Parker: Alpha, Parker School and Universal are very good at what they do. Castle Rock has two good gyms as well. If there are any questions, please contact me. I am happy to help.

Enjoy January.
